Black Friday is coming upon us really fast and every one knows that's the start of the Holiday season. Do you look forward to the "biggest shopping day of the year" kicking off your Christmas shopping on the Friday after Thanksgiving? Are you one of those people who have a army of people set to set out at different stores and we would find you camping out in front of those stores at 3 am in the morning? Or do you lazily roll out of bed and if you happen to find a great deal, hooray! or is it "whatever" for you?
I do not do Black Fridays. I never have and I am quite scared to even attempt the rampaging, pushy, pissy people who did not get that DVR that was priced so low that I must have it or you die! crowds. I have seen enough horror stories on the news about that day that I am okay, sitting in my warm, safe home and will pay the extra 10 bucks you might save.
I was informed though, that once Josh and I can get together on Thanksgiving, he is dragging me out at 3 am in the morning and I will shut up and I will like it. Sureeeeee Josh! But also be prepared to have me bungee'ed to your waist and I am wearing football shoulder pads and a helmet as well. Better yet, let me borrow your brother skate board and we'll put a cage up around me and you can pull me! -nods-
Ok ok. I know I'm going a little to far there, but seriously. The thought of fighting my way through a rushing crowd is not my idea of a good time. Maybe being in company with the love of your life won't be so bad. I am sure to find out one day.
Are you looking forward to it or will you be sleeping in like me??
Mom and I were out and about today to grab a few things and while there, we made the mistake of stopping in the baby section. I had once stated to Miles and Jen that I was not going to buy any clothes for the baby other then the basic because people have been handing them clothes everyday and well....they grow so fast! Mhmmmm....like I can keep my word!
Mom and I had to literally drag each other away before we bought the store out LOL I ended up buying Haley 4 outfits and a Onesie and some head band thingies baby girls wear.
We have yet to finish the baby room. I need to get busy because its slowly starting to fill up with baby things. They are getting their crib next week and Jens father has a dresser and I got Jen a Rocking chair. Time is getting close -nods-
On a other note:
I smell rain. Looking out my door, I see its raining! Wow! Its been 3 weeks since we had any rain and its very much needed.....
Not very often do my mother and I get to go out on our own. Today we decided that we were going to leave the kiddies home (Miles and Jen) to fend for themselves and we went out for chinese food and a little shopping.
We have gone to this place for many years and something we usually do at least once a month. Except, its been about 3 months since we been here last. It is always packed with a line waiting outside to get in. Sometimes it can be annoying when the waitresses are pretty much trying to push you out the door even before we are done eating! Blah Let us finish our meal first! Geeesh
But I do enjoy sitting there and chatting it up with my mom. Its not something we get to do all the time, even though we see each other every day. Just something nice about getting away from home, in a relaxing atmosphere and getting away from a moody pregnant woman and a grumpy male because of the moody pregnant woman.
Right beside Hong Kongs buffet, is Kmart. So afterwards, we took a quick trip through there to pick up some cleaning supplies. I finally came up with a system that seems to be working to get EVERY ONE in the house cleaning...including the moody pregnant woman and the grumpy male. Its been nice not having it fall on my mother and I alone. About darn time! When we got home, we did see Jen mopping all the floors and I about fell over. Its not on her list for tonight. Maybe there is something good about being a moody pregnant woman. Shes getting those motherly urges and getting the house ready for her baby.
Hmmm...wonder if she will keep this up for the next 5 months???
Today I actually started shopping for the baby to be. I felt so lost roaming in the baby department and I just wanted to load up a ton of carts and take it all home. I ordered somethings online last night, like, onesies and socks but without us knowing if the baby is a boy or girl, it makes it hard. I haven't really been able to find many items for both.
I figured every time I go to the store, I will pick up a few things that will really be helpful for the mom to be when the baby is finally here. Baby powder, baby wipes, diaper rash ointment, diapers, bibs and so on.
Good idea right? I think so anyways -nods-
I took this today and will be taking one every month from here on out till she has the baby. I'm going to start up a baby book for them and these pictures will be included. She is just about 5 months pregnant here and I think its the most beautiful thing in the world!! Yeah, can't you tell I am excited about being a Aunt? She's going to have a hard time keeping that baby out of my arms! LOL
There lives are soon going to be taking a huge turn and I can only hope they will be ready. With them being as young as they are, I can't help but be a little scared for them. One thing they will never be without is support. I know that my mom and I will be there for them every step of the way and I know her dad will be as well. I only hope her mother will shake off her grudge and become a part of their lives again. Miles and Jen chose to go down this road and its done. Now its time to get over it and help them get though it. I'm big into family and I believe families need to stick together no matter what and help each other through anything.
It broke our hearts and we missed him dearly. But he is a big dog and took a lot of money for his upkeep. Money that we just did not have at the time. We are not ones to neglect our pets so we felt it was the right thing to do..regardless of how we were hurting. Well the friend who had him just recently been evicted from her home because her land lord sold the place and she could no longer keep Scooby. We took him back in a heartbeat! We are more stable now and can care for him and our other pets and we wanted him back LOL He comes running in the house...all excited, jumping around and giving hugs and kisses. He ran out back and started marking his territory all thru the back yard =P It is so good to have him home again!
I came to the conclusion that I have out shopped Victoria Secrets! lol
Nicole
(my brothers g/f) and I went on a trip to the mall for some girly
shopping. I so love this store, so upon wakening, I was excited and
eager to head out. What female doesnt love new sexi underthings? And of
course, I've been losing weight so was in dire need of new ones...lol
Blahhhh..They
didn't have anything new or anything that really caught my eye. I am
not one to just have plain color panties or bra's. I want prints!
Something pleasing to the eyes..Even my own..lol We went from rack to
rack..sifting through hundreds of bra's.. push ups..minimizers, barely
nothing there bra's..etc
Even tho I was quite
disappointed, I did manage to find 3 that I liked..Altho plain, they
were cute and do have to say, looked pretty good on me..haha Sooooo,
over the arm they went..skipping to the pantie section!
ohhhhhhh,
on the way to there, came across 2 night shirts (if thats what u want
to call them) to match 2 pairs of panties I bought last trip. Of
course, grabbed those. Both built in bra's, so if wanted to feel really
sexi and daring, I can wear em under my clothes..woooohooooooo lol
Found
a few panties I liked..so all in all..wasn't to bad of a trip. Am
thinking Im gonna have to wait a few more months before I make another
trip. See if then, they have anything new..
But yeah...my afternoon...pretty exciting eh? -grinz-
